Kestrel Gymnastics Edinburgh

Kestrel Gymnastics Group was formed in June 1987 and worked out of the Forrestine’s Centre at St Augustine’s High School, Edinburgh, from then until October 1999. We have been awarded the British Gymnastics Association Regional Club of the Year twice.

 Kestrel moved to Drumbrae Leisure Centre, Edinburgh on the opening of the Centre in October 1999.  

 We have performed in every Gymfest and take part in many other festivals throughout the year including the London Festival held each October. Festivals are the non-competitive arm of gymnastics and serves to give every participant an opportunity to shine out within the support of their own group.

Training Locations

Kestrel Gymnastics Group train at Currie Youth Club on a Monday evening (display practice) Drumbrae Leisure Centre (general) Tuesday and Wednesday evening, Currie Youth Club Saturday Morning (Gymteds) and Lasswade High School Saturday afternoon (selected group).

SATURDAY MORNING

 PARENT & TODDLER CLASS  9.15 – 10.00

FOR AGES 18 MONTHS TO 3 YEARS

3 & 4 YEARS CLASS  10.15 – 11.00

 5 YEARS + CLASS 11.15 – 12.30

 Class fee is £3.50 payable in advance per term

There is a £15.00 joining fee for under fives and this includes their insurance from the Scottish Gymnastics Association. Membership to Kestrel Gymnastics Group and Currie Youth Club

5 years + have an annual fee of £17 payable to the SGA.

 NEW TERM BEGINS ON AUGUST 15th
