Kestrel Gymnastics Group was formed in June 1987 and worked out of the Forrestine’s Centre at St Augustine’s High School, Edinburgh, from then until October 1999. We have been awarded the British Gymnastics Association Regional Club of the Year twice.

 Kestrel moved to Drumbrae Leisure Centre, Edinburgh on the opening of the Centre in October 1999.  

 We have performed in Irvine, Perth, Edinburgh Gymfests and take part in  other festivals throughout the year including the London Festival held each October Dublin Fleadh held in June. Festivals are the non-competitive arm of gymnastics and serves to give every participant an opportunity to shine out within the support of their own group.
